vulnerable : endangered : extinct are three of seven categories given to species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The flowers chosen by Ruth and depicted in this installation are under threat due to climate change and changes in their natural environments. The three bracketed words demonstrate the artist’s distain and frustration for this ongoing situation.
