Theatre of Devotions depicts of a range of small plant species, often found at higher altitudes, that are now under threat due to the warming of our planet.
The size and structures of these intricate sculptures reference the early twentieth century Brendel botanical models that were used to educate and inform those who could not see them in real life. The now rarity of these species makes this the case for more daunting reasons.
Created from discarded ‘single use’ plastics found in the home.
